Westernfield 30-30

Postby bobbfrommn on Fri Oct 26, 2012 1:01 pm

Hey guys, I am going to sell my old deer rifle that I really never used. Just more of a bird hunter I guess. Anyway I've got a Westernfield 30-30 Model M72 with a bushnell sportview scope. I was thinking it's probably $50-$100. Does that sound about right?

It doesn't sound right to me. I think your rifle, depending on condition, is worth more than just $50-$100.

Judging from those prices and others I see on the internet, I'd ask $200 cash and see if I'd get any takers. Western Field was an old catalog house brand and had different models made by a few different manufacturers. People are saying the M72 was made by Mossberg, but I don't know if that's correct. A friend of mine has a Western Field lever action .22LR that is a wonderful little rifle to shoot.

Best of luck to you.

Do you have pics? what kind of shape is it in? I may be real interested depending on the price you decide on

Thanks guys I had a buddy offer me $100 and since he tends to cut me good deals when he sells a gun I went for $100 and future considerations on a pistol to be named later. :)
