M4/AR Rifle Case

Postby bstrawse on Wed Dec 26, 2012 11:27 am

I'm looking for a better soft case than the one I have for a M4 Carbine sized rifle w/ optic.

I'd prefer something that doesn't scream EVIL TACTICAL RIFLE - but that's well built enough to handle getting tossed about, etc.. something that holds the rifle plus has some internal capacity for mags, etc, would be best.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

Buy a hard sided bow case and customize it for holding mags and the rifle...it works slick..you just get a few funny looks bringing it to the range..

Cabela's tactical case is best bang for buck IMO. I have a couple...

The Brownells Signature Series bag is really nice, definetely not the cheapest, but really nice. Well made with heavy duty YKK zipper and not super tacti-cool. Glad I won mine :)

It's quality to, I believe it's available in digi cam or black. You can fit a couple rifles in there no problem.

I just picked this guy up. From a functional standpoint it looks great.

kinda screams "I HAVE A GUN IN HERE", but the Drago line is pretty well built.

i have their smallish backpack (or "Bug Out Bag" for you WROL folks) and i really like it. the only issue i have with THIS one is that it's easy to overfill ;)

Recently bought a condor. I needed one for a longer barrel though which limits options quite a bit.

If you don't mind carrying the gun broken down, I really like the CountyComm "SatCom" case. It's basically a clone of the SOTech cases, but it comes in a larger size, which better fits a full-size rifle.
http://countycomm.com/satcom.html

I also have a "Discreet" case from Castle Rock Tactical that also fits the bill, but it's much more expensive.

Kudos for that satcomm bag link, I was looking at those SOTech bags this week. $50 is far more palatable than $140.
