I had this idea a little while ago. Would be fun and different, but it isn't worth screwing up my rifle for.

Instant Assault Weapon. I may have to buy one just to try it out. I've got a Mosin that I could sacrafice in the name of science.

I have to think that that grip will fall off (or at least loosen up substantially) after about 40 rounds.

I like the idea but I think I would attach it a little more secure. Maybe to a screw through the trigger guard would help. This could also be an easy mod for an SKS.
