702 plinkster barrel removal/bolt disassembly- possible?

Postby Minnesnotashooter on Mon Jul 29, 2013 6:02 pm

I recently got a Mossberg 702 Plinkster. I took it out at the range for the first time last week and when I got home and was cleaning it I noticed its a little hard to clean the inside of the receiver and the barrel(yes I have a bore snake but its still a little hard to get the weight in the chamber)
I also noticed that the bolt got really dirty(I've never owned a semi auto .22 before) and I'm wondering if there's a way to take that apart for better cleaning
And also I noticed that the firing pin moves freely, is it supposed to be like that or is there a spring that I'm missing to keep it sticking out of the rear of the bolt for the hammer to strike it? It function with out any problems at the range but I might have accidentally knocked a spring out while taking it down.
