Winchester 1873 featured in American Rifleman this month

I've wanted one of these since I first saw "Winchester 73" starring Jimmy Stewart. I like the chambering (.357/.38 spl) and it really is a looker. But, the end of the article, explaining that Olin licensed the design and name to another company that has them made in Japan. Maybe it's an old notion but I really like the idea of an American made Winchester. Anyone on this board own one of these? Is it really as nice as it looks?

The article says it is made by the company (Miroku Corp.) that manufactures the Browning Citori. Haven't heard many complaints about the quality of Citori's.

Man, if I wasn't so dang conservative with my cash (and recovering after 7 years of single income having had a stay-at-home wife/mom) I'd love one of these. Absolutely wonderful guns.

Someday..
