For the price you could almost get a Waffen Works milled receiver AK, one of the best you can buy

The waffen works looks great, but is an AK-74.

I believe they make 47's as well, but maybe I am wrong. I think arsenal is about the best AK you can buy and they are not too much more than this James River.

James River makes nice stuff. Pricey, but nice. They had tables at large gun shows back east and had beautifully restored Garands.
