What component in a trigger would be 'bonded' together? I don't much care for the idea of a trigger that was glued together.

It could be excess thread locker/nail polish they put on the trigger adjusting screws.
They do make a nice trigger group, you just have to remove the 8lb lawyer from it. ;)

Wish they would just send a new trigger assy I'm not going to send my 700 to them and wait three months or more to be sent back, I am just going to order a timney for it and not worry about the recall.

I'll betcha that's exactly it. A guy's gotta pick all that crap off anyway to dial er' down to ~2lbs. Don't forget to replace it with fingernail polish and smack the butt on the floor a few times when you're done.

Point well taken. :deadhorse:

But I agree with "chopper's" evaluation of the topic.

Has anyone got a 700 they could take a picture of the issue described?

Thoughts? Would you send it in? Seems like a pain for something that has been working well with no issue.

To be honest I haven't even checked to see if mine is on the list.
I'd probably put in an aftermarket before I'd send it in.
