The Tavor is pretty cool, and that is one cool looking suppressor. That thin 9mm magazine doesn't look right though. It's on my "list" as well. If it's standard issue for the IDF, it's got to be pretty solid.
Didn't care for it out of the box, but that lasted until my first range trip and it just began to click for me. Accurate, well balanced, rugged, and proven in combat.
Just received a Shooting Sight trigger for my Tavor today!
Trigger feels in the 5 to 6 pounds. (I wouldn't want anything less in a bullpup, CQB rifle.) Crisp, clean trigger pull. Nice reset. Some initial take-up in trigger. Much better than the stock trigger. Better than any other bullpup rifle I have shot. Will measure the trigger pull and probably shoot it tomorrow.
I've been in love with the Tavor since I first saw it. I got a chance last spring to put a few mags through a friends. My go to home defense/ battle rifle is an AAC 300blk pistol (another short package platform). For me, the Tavor only makes sense if/when they actually come out with 300blk conversion barrels. In the meantime, it gives me a chance to squirrel away some money for it.
