SSG3000 mags

Postby ronin069 on Sat Jan 24, 2015 6:27 pm

A buddy recently purchased the rifle and is having no luck locating the mags. Most of his LGS have never even seen an SSG3000, let alone the mags.

Thanks for any assistance you can offer...

Yeah we tried there...Midway has not updated in a while. When you try to order, you are told they are unavailable. Thank very much for checking though. Saw a few on Gun Broker a while back, guys were asking for, and getting nearly $100 per mag!

Good luck.

I work in engineering. It never fails that someone designs something with a proprietary or custom part that, a few years down the road, becomes rare or unavailable.

How many .308/7.62 magazines have been designed and worked just fine over the years? Why then go to the expense and trouble of reinventing the wheel.
