300 blackout upper

this might be a dumb question but are 223/5.56 and 300 blackout uppers interchangeable on a ar 15 lower that is stamped 223/5.56 :?:

Yes. Mags, bolt face are also interchangeable. Depending on your upper and gas port location/diameter, you may have to use a different buffer.

Some aluminum mags have been known to not allow the .30 cal bullet to clear the ribs on the mag wall. Polymer mags A-ok.

I have bunch of alum mags and no problems with any of them old or new.
