Got my first ar15

I never cared for the stupid little round 556 or 223. But I was in Rochester yesterday and noticed they have there stag rifles on clearance. 1000$ rifle for 600$. It was the last one it have very heavy scratches and looks like it was dropped so he gave me 50$ off to make it 550$, for that price I decided to get it. Its the stag model 2. Still like my ak more but now I can get my 6.5 upper, and possibly shoot a coyote this winter.

Great price for that rifle! You should be able to easily take coyotes with that one as well.

$600 for an AR-15, any brand really that's a smoking good price! Even if it is a Stag... 8-)

Just kidding. Good find and it should be a good platform to build whatever you want out of it.
