Cheap ASC mags or stick with NHMTG?

I've got a decent stash of 20rd and 30rd NHMTG mags, enough to last me the rest of my days, with some Pmags for good measure. But I noticed FF has the aluminum 30 round ASC mags with the orange followers on clearance for $4 each. At that price are they worth picking up a couple dozen, or would I be wasting a Benjamin on crap mags?

You are receiving no answers due to everyone driving to Fleet Farm to stock up on $4 mags before the word really gets out.

Well if they are actually functional mags then it's a great deal. But if half of them are gonna give me issues then it's not so great. From what I could find out the ASC mags are just made on the old tooling they got in a settlement from C Products, and C product mags were not regarded in high esteem. I may just get a couple dozen anyway to put aside for the next panic buying spree.

I was stocking up on the cheap $4 mags, but as of last night they are all out. Should have mortgaged my house to get more of them before they dried up.

Not worth it, you didn't miss much. Most of the ASC mags of late are junk.

Buy mags, keep in original packaging (if any), and then sell for $60 a pop to the idiots that go buy Bushmasters for $2k at Walmart after Killary steals the election.
