19.6 gr 2346 fps (5 shot AVG) H110- 16 inch barrel
19.8 2338 fps
20.0 2350 fps
20.2 2349 fps
20.4 2344 fps

Got out yesterday to shoot the Barnes 110 Tac. My Burris RT-6 works great.

19.6 H110 2337 fps (Avg 5 shot)
19.8 2389 fps Best grouping
20.0 2405 fps
20.2 2439 fps
20.4 2450 fps

Also Bought a box of Hornady Black 110 V-Max to compare to my data.

Black 110 V-Max 2359 fps (Avg 5 shot)

Hornady book calls for 2.050 but the Black C.O.A.L. is 2.090 which grouped better than my reloads.

What primers are you using? The powder, after a certain point, won't burn, so you won't see a normal progression in fps increase. Small magnum primers will help. So will a good crimp.

CCI regular small primers. Will try the magnum primers. I do a lite crimp.

I've never been impressed with the COL values listed in the Hornady manual.

20.4 gr of H110 is at/beyond most max loads I have seen listed for 110gr bullets. Might try slowing it down a little and see what your groups do.

There seems to be a big debate over std vs mag primers. So far all I have used is CCI SR but I still have not gotten around to doing serious load work.

Did some testing with different coal and came up with 2.110 for the Hornady 110 V-Max. With 20.0 gr of H110 my groupings are fairly tight. Now to do some testing with the Barnes 110 TAC.
