Anyone know where I can get a 6 position buffer tube and a charging handle anodized in silver.

I have both in a very ugly gold/green that I thought looked good until I put them next to the blue hand guard.

The other option we be to get these re anodized if some has a source that would do it for 20-30 bucks.

What about the NIB-X plated stuff? Or is that not the right shade?

They do excellent work. They did a hard anodize for me, on an adapter OldmanFCSA made me, for mounting my 50 BMG Press. They are less than 2 miles from my home.

The Black part is the adapter OldmanFCSA made for me. It's made from 6061-T6 and Hard Anodized. The added front bolt is to stabilize the press while resizing 50 BMG brass. It screws into a stainless Stainless T-Nut.

Looks nice. I have to ask though, why bother anodizing it?

It prevents damage or corrosion to the aluminum. Especially galvanic corrosion from having the dissimilar metals always in contact. The hard anodizing, is so hard a file, will barely mark it.

What did they charge for that, and what was the lead time? Thanks

They took about 4 days, because they put it in with some other items they were doing that week. If I remember correctly, it was about $50. I met the owner and he was a very nice guy. I would not hesitate to have them do any other items I might need anodized.
