Not happy about it either but the engraving is not that bad and kinda cool to be listed as the manufacturer. The $200? Well you have to pay to play. I've blown more on less.

Correct me if I am wrong but your required to notify ATF to take a sbr out of state, correct? But I can take any regular firearm across state lines as long as I abide by their requirements.

Yes, but it’s just submitting a form every year or slapping a longer upper on it.

Yes, but it’s just submitting a form every year or slapping a longer upper on it.[/quote]

Putting a longer upper on a registered SBR does not make it a rifle. It is still a registered SBR and still subject to ATF notification to take it out of the state of residence.

No, that isn’t true. It’s configuration dependent.

Wanted to add to my previous post
Of all the different firearms defined as NFA weapons, machineguns are the only type where the receiver of the weapon by itself is an NFA firearm

You should be ashamed of yourself saying that. Go to your corner and repent!

WEll I think I might be done with savage firearms. it wasent feeding worth a crap and keeped getting blown primes really annoying, well something broke and the rifle is compltly jamed up.

Notice they only offer a 1 year warranty... compltly pathetic while the comptition offers lifetime.
See if they even reply back or ill have to call them, still wating on the email i sent them months ago about mags for the rifle.
