Yep. Glad you liked it enough to buy more.

Kicking myself for missing the TAC/MBT combo deal way back. You snooze you loose.

Just checked my status - Backordered. Ordered 2-21.

Looks like the sale started 2/6 so you might be after the initial swell of orders. If you need one sooner, same thing, I can loan one if needed.

The TAC is pretty cool but if you use the trigger then it’s empty.

I like the AR Gold trigger in my AR308 hunting rifles. I believe it is a 3.5 lb. Have it in both a 7mm-08 and a .243 set up.

I have one of the PSA polished triggers. Just put it in a lower using the 50 cent set screw trigger job mod. Combined with JP springs and I have a 3.25lb pull with no creep for $40. Of course I have not fired it yet though either so not sure how safe it is.

Finding out that Aero has a lot of sales. If their stuff were in stock more often it would make sense to wait over a period of a month or so and pick things up as they drop in price. As it is, I've had several thing I already purchased go on sale before they shipped them so they were happy to price adjust. I did manage to find a couple Aero parts from other vendors but it seems stock elsewhere is vanishingly low too.

Hopefully all of LaRue’s generosity to the 2A attorneys on AR15.com doesn’t slow down trigger manufacturing ;)

$100K raised in an hour and a half.

The last piece of the puzzle, the LPK, is 'out for delivery' today. Should be able to put things together over the weekend. I'll try to document along the way and share.

Quick question:

In talking with Aero tech support they recommended using grease on the outside of the barrel extension and aluminum-friendly anti-seize on the barrel nut threads and then using 65 ft-lbs to tighten the barrel nut. On all the videos I've watched and how-tos I've read they only ever mention using aeroshell grease or similar on the threads. Which do you recommend, grease or anti-seize? Or is this a case of over-thinking things and it really doesn't matter as long as you use something?

The 65 ft-lbs seems higher than I've seen recommended, but I've probably see more AR15 videos than 308 so maybe that's why. I will go with 65.

I use grease on the extension and threads. I don’t think it matters to most people.

65 is good, I’ve done them between about 40 and 80 before.

I have used both. If I ever have to pull a barrel, I will have to tell you if there was any difference then.

LaRue tactical just sent me a note, my order is complete and will be shipped. So "In No Hurry " shipping isn't too bad.
