I second what Cobb says. If you get a $200 revolver you can look it over to see where it's tight and where it's loose, put about 12 rounds through it and be justifiably confident that it'll work. If you buy a $200 autoloader, you need to put about $50 worth of ammo through it to justify that same level of confidence.
Besides, it's a well known fact that revolver shooters are more intelligent and better looking.
