I usually carry a speed strip downloaded by one shot (to have a little more plastic to grab onto) in the watch pocket of my jeans. Some pants it fits horizontally, some vertically with the tail sticking out.

This is how I do it as well.... the pros also use this approach. A 5 second reload takes a little bit of practice, but is by no means super human. I like the strips better than the hks speed loaders for my 5 shot. The hks speed loaders always bind up on me, with my laser grips.

Here is a vid demonstrating use

Galco makes a pouch that attaches to their shoulder holster, I'm not sure if you can buy it any other way.

Have you been shot by anyone wearing a shoulder yet?

No I haven't nor do I imagine I ever will.
I realize it's irrational, but the one time I did wear one, I kept thinking I'm sweeping everyone behind me all the time. It made be exceedingly uncomfortable. It's burned into my brain. I can't help it.

I go tone for my .357 Rossi before I switched to an auto. Seems to work fine, but it's really fat when folded. Imagine a triple stack magazine if there were such a thing.
