If you are going to buy a 1911, get the government. Not only is this the real mccoy (and the best functioning version), it's size and weight just have that commanding presence... :)

Bill's just got a bunch of nice and unusual 1911s in yesterday on consignment. Chip McCormick, Les Baer, Wilson, Colt...seemed like there were eight or so of them sitting on the table, and all of them appeared like-new.

Robbinsdale. They were just getting them entered into the system yesterday afternoon, so they probably hit the floor this morning.
