Sometimes I carry a full size Springfield Loaded and when I do I use a leather Don Hume IWB open top. It works well and it's only like $30. I have the same holser for my P2000 and my XD-40 subcompact.

I sometimes carry my Kimber Classic CDP II in a Milt Sparks VM2 - but more commonly it's a winter carry in an external Galco or Srigs holster.

My daily carry is a 4" Kimber SIS Pro - usually in a Milt Sparks VM2 - if I'm carrying externally, it's in a Srigs hoslter :)

This isn't necessarily true in my opinion. There's no reason to "rush" the gun back into the holster after every shot or engagement, but it is possible that you will need to re-holster it quickly and while on the move, particularly in the worst-case "active shooter" scenario. Unlikely? Perhaps. Impossible? Certainly not. You don't want to get plugged by the responding SWAT team because you're running around with a gun out. You also probably don't want to just throw the gun away and leave it on the ground as you move for a variety of reasons.

I personally only recommend holsters/carry methods that cover the trigger guard for any civilian carry application. I don't feel that the added risk is worth the reward of slightly reduced printing possibilities...but that's just my two cents.

I carry my 50 GI in an hbeleatherworks.com IWB, and it's very comfortable and well made. As far as hitching up the pants, the key is tighter pants rather than looser. I wear a pair or Lee REGULAR fit jeans which are fairly snug, and the belt and the waistband of the pants press the whole holster into my body (and bury half the width of the grip in my love handles) and keep it in one spot.
srigs also makes some very comfortable holsters in IWB with both 1 clip and 2, and the nice part about this is you can try it on before you buy it, and you can also ask to have one made like it with certain alterations.

Next Gopher OCB is September, and srigs normally shows up unless there is a gun show.

I carry my full size Kimber in Srigs IWB double snap. No issues whatsoever in my Levis 514 (Slim Straight, just like me :) ) My belt is generally a leather Columbia that I got in Gander but I'm ordering one of the Looper belts that Ron just started carrying on Unholstered.com. Those should be a bit stiffer and more comfortable even.
I have a Colt Python and you don't so what do I care...

If I'm moving to engage an "active shooter" who is threatening, my theoretical children, I think the gun is in my hand.

If I've got to get the gun out of my hand because the 5-0 just arrived, the gun is on the ground.

I think the odds of having to run to engage AND worry about being shot by the cops are slimmer than the odds of an ND due to an exposed trigger.
