The PM9 arrived back from Kahr this morning (the couldn't have shipped it out Thursday?
). Kahr replaced the magazine catch. Lo and behold, empty mags now drop clear if I press the catch fully.I'm not real sure how this succeeded in correcting the problem since the the mags were clearly hanging up on the trigger bar until I pressed the trigger and it slid right a bit. All I can imagine is that the mag catch was dragging before, not enough to provide a readily perceived amount of drag, but enough to push the top of the mag to the right against the trigger bar.
I'll do some range time with it tomorrow and see if it stays fixed or not.
