BTW, I belong to the Winona Sportsman's Club. I'm looking forward to the thaw so I can get back out there again and practice.

I don't know what the status of that is, but it sounded like it was a real possibility. I thought that it was Coyote Creek that was going to do it, but I could be mistaken. I suspect that if they did build, it'd likely start this spring or summer. No way to confirm this info without talking to them. My brother was going to check, since he lives down there, but I haven't heard back from him on it.

That would be VERY cool if the Rochester area could get an indoor range, I'd be there. Coyote Creek did build an indoor archery range, not sure that they could easily build a pistol range at their current location.
I don't think that the Minute Man range is open for normal use anymore, just classes and sales. Back when they were open regularly, they had really poor hours, and it's quite a drive out in the country.
The SMS Club (http://www.smsclub.org) does have an indoor range, but it's only open on Sunday's from 1 to 3pm. The target are at a fixed distance (30 feet I think), and lead-only ammo is required.

Does anyone know how to get info on winona Sportman club as far as practicing ,shooting , who can join. who can use it etc. I know this sound stupid but went to the website and it don't really give the information about any of my questions. Just want to practice with my husband and son and can't find nothing as to anything to do with shoot ranges for pistols kind of hard to practice living in Winona . Any info sure would be REALLY helpful .
