It's obvious you have not met him or you would understand his sense of humor.

Wow, just WOW! Those last pics are a stark reminder on how careful you have to be with reloading and/or shooting in general. Just glad for you that it didn't injure you, or even kill you.

The purpose of a firearm in a defensive situation is to make the other guy leak from holes he was not born with. Your job is to install those orifices for him.

Now I know why I stick to just re-loading 9mm and .45 using Unique!

Wow, glad your ok. I get how something like this could happen with reloads. Is something like this likely to ever happen with factory loaded ammo? Just recently purshased my first handgun, .40 and wondering how rare something like this would be.

It's possible to have something like this happen with factory ammo, much less so if you look at the rounds as you're loading the magazines. But you always have to listen for any difference between a normal shot and something either much louder or much quieter.

I have EFK barrels in my 17, 29, and 20. Always thought they were of decent quality. Appears to be some "humor" in this thread. Sort of surprising. Maybe I am missing something. That has happened before.

The only up side is people that have issues like this and are quick to blow it off most likely will revisit the situation again. I'm thinking darrin award.
