Made my purchase today got the M&P 9mmc, remora holster?

Postby gooseman on Tue Jun 21, 2011 9:46 pm

I made my purchase today got the M&P 9mm compact took it to the range and I couldn't be happier first time shooting it and was tearing holes in the bulls eye. Does anyone have any experience with the remora holsters?

I got one thinking it might be handy for pocket carry in a winter jacket or something, but i've never gotten around to actually using it. I've got a Galco 'summer comfort' IWB that I usually use. Bills carrys Remora, if you didn't know, and want to check them out in person vs. pics on a website.

He's the guy that makes those semi-auto's that they thought would get through airport security because they have polymer frames. :D

I had 2 Remora's, customer service was great in the return process. They are built very well and do work extremely good too, but they were thicker than my Silent Thunder so I just decided to stick with what I love and ordered another from Garrett Industries instead.

They definitely put out a good product though, but it's Silent Thunder for me.

I have looked at most of the videos on youtube. Thanks for posting. I am gonna order one because they are only 30 I like the deep concealment factor also the tuck ability but the no clip concerns me a bit.

I had a Remora holster for my Ruger LCP. Best pocket holster I've tried.

I have a remora and a desantis Super fly, and the Super fly is far and away the better product. True it has a little more bulk that the remora, but the optional square flap and the material make it so you can carry IWB with confidence. It's one of my favorite holsters.

Why did you return them?

I have a Remora Holster w/reinforced top for my Ruger P95. Great Holster! Its not expensive too so I'm pretty happy with it.

i have a Remora, i use it every day to carry my FNP-40. holds tight, no complaints. it's nice to be able to switch from carrying on my hip, to small of the back, to the front of my pants if i want. also, when i'm in a car it's easy to pull and put back on. i'd definately recommend a Remora holster for IWB carry
