How do you carry spare mags

This seems like a familiar argument!

We all know that we have permits to carry and the word concealed is not mentioned. We all also know that the majority of time we carry it is concealed. Flip never said "conceal carry permit", he asked what everyone else does when they conceal carry.

For an answer: when my weapon is IWB on my strong side, I have a double mag holster OWB on my weak side that is really easy to conceal because it doesn't ride much lower than the belt so almost any untucked shirt will hide it.

I should retake these pictures, not very good.

I carry my spare magazines on my weak side, front pocket.

+1
There's nothing wrong with what Flip wrote. Some people read "conceal" and just fly off the handle. Read before you react. It's one thing to talk about Minnesota's CCW law (which is obviously wrong) and quite another thing to talk about how one goes about carrying concealed, which is what Flip was talking about.

Now, back to the topic...I hide my spare mags behind my CCW badge.

You really shouldn't be so flip about it, besides I can't fly...................... ;)

I always carry spare magazines: one copy of Commentary and one copy of Varmint Master.

Honestly, you people crack me up sometimes. But it is good that newbies like me do find what we are looking for in between the razzing and the banter. I just ordered the Blackhawk Serpa Holster and two of their spare magazine holders. I'll be getting them soon. CCW-class on April 12, can't wait.

Good. Someone needs to tell him that by him using that term he is bringing down the whole movement. I would do it but I forgot how it goes.

I carry two guns and a spare mag in the winter.

I have actually completely stricken that word from my vocabulary. You know the first C in CCW or C&C. I would tell you what that word is but I don't even remember.

So you are saying because you are carrying one of the guns that you list above that one of their magazines will not fail, thus needing a spare magazine? Or are you saying that maybe your seatbelt will never hit the magazine release on one of these above listed guns, allowing the magazine to slip out of that gun and remaining on the seat of the car so that you are now only carrying a single shot?

Hmm, interesting. Me, just in case, I carry a spare magazine. ;)
