So you are saying because you are carrying one of the guns that you list above that one of their magazines will not fail, thus needing a spare magazine? Or are you saying that maybe your seatbelt will never hit the magazine release on one of these above listed guns, allowing the magazine to slip out of that gun and remaining on the seat of the car so that you are now only carrying a single shot?

Hmm, interesting. Me, just in case, I carry a spare magazine. ;)

Yes you are correct Cobb, things do happen at the worst times. I was just throwing a little bit of gas on the old fire. I am sorry :(

Nothing to be sorry about, you have a long way to go to match how much gas some here throw on the fire.

And I don't mean to suggest that something like losing, or a magazine breaking would happen to you or others, just me, Murphy and I have quite a relationship.

HOLY COW!!!

My intent was not to start a firestorm of controversy about whether or not you must CONCEAL and cary. I guess I was asking more of how do people who choose to conceal their handgun also conceal their mags (if they choose to).

I do realize that you don't have to conceal here in MN but I also realize that for those who do choose to conceal their weapon, they may have a different manner of carrying their mags (read possibly in a more concealed manner) vs. those who wear closer to plain sight (for instance). I understand that some are just giving some good banter but I was actually trying to find out if a certain group of people who have a license to carry also carry mags a certain way overall. That's it

My back has been out for the last several days, so I haven't been carrying as usual with the aid of my IWB holster. I've had to use a Blackhawk OWB holster.

That's my CCW story. What's yours?

He carries a cow on his back, holds the bell just fine from what I've seen

From what instructors learnt at Cokato II, clothes are a bitch, work on a draw with winter clothes on  , then figure out where to put a mag or 2 that are easily accessible would be my advice, can't forget the Cobb handbag for off body (beats thrashing layers) 8-) With the caveat of safety first.......no live ammo in the room, if you're practicing indoors.

Cowbells are open carry only, bull's bells can be concealed with difficulty but dog's bollocks really stick out!

Yes that is what I'm saying.

I suppose if you carry and inferior product (anything not a Glock) you should carry a just in case clip.

Wow! That actually happened to me. It was some time ago and I had forgot about it until you brought it up. I went the whole day with a one shot.

I have to be (very) concealed, so I carry IWB, with a spare mag in the week side front pocket of my jeans (I know, I know, about the lint and access thing).

At least I have a back up mag. 8-) 8-)
