S&W 439, light alloy frame, slim single stack grip, and accurate as any other...

Dang, I got excited about this only to find that you guys meet in fairbault. It's a little too far out of my way. Do you know of anything closer to the twin cities?

And just to keep the thread on topic, I'm partial to the CM9.

This is one list that could go on forever so I'll just name three.
Springfield XDM Compact or Sub-Compact,
Stoger Cougar Compact,
Ruger LC9 or SR 9C

I'm also on the PM9 bandwagon.
Compared to what I used to carry (Sig 229) I don't even notice it's there.
It's also surprising accurate for such a small gun.
I also second needing the Pearce grip extensions. Doesn't really add anything as far as size, but makes a huge difference in comfort and controlability (is that a word?).
The other thing I really like on mine is Agrip grip wrap; the checkering on the grip was way too aggressive for me.
Tried the rubber Hogue sleeve and didn't like it. Agrip is waaay better.

Having said all that, I'd rather be carrying a H&K P2000sk, just don't have an extra $1000 to drop at this time.

XD-9SC mentioned once in this thread?

Size, weight, capacity & tough as nails. Price is a bit higher than most mentioned....

For the price + a few dollars, you can have your 2 PF-9's and end up with the same capacity, barring extra mags. That, resale value, fairly indestructible tack driver & I can get loads of add-ons means my EDC is a great choice for this thread.

YMMV, but that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
