On a more serious note: Countries throughout the world produce millions billions of rounds of small arms and other ammunition with mild steel lacquered cases. They produce these for military use for the defence/offence of the country. They produce them with steel cases to wear out their firearms as quickly as possible which compromises the security and sovereignty of those respective countries. These are the same countries that produce small arms that are notoriously weak. I know this because a salesman at a gun store told me.

Shoot the stuff. It will work well. It may be dirty, and some of the priming may be corrosive, but shoot like crazy and clean your firearm well.

Then you need to reload.

100 rounds of .45 ACP costs me exactly $14*, and thats if I'm using the good bullets. If I use cast lead (and I usually do) that cost comes down some.

If you're reading this, there are better than even odds you are a d-bag.

Lmfao.. I really want to get into realoading but in my current living situation I have no way of setting everything up properly because me and the gf rent out the basement of her mothers house and her mom is a little coo coo to say the least and very un informed when it comes to firearms. She already whines about me having guns she would completely freak out if she saw a reloading bench set up in her basement lol. I am supposed to move out next month as long as everything goes as planned and then ill be realoading for sure I've been saving all of my casings and just about any other casings left behind by other shooters. I figureas the collection expands ill eventually own just about every major caliber so I might as well start saving brass now.

I would bet that your "coo-coo" mother-in-law wouldn't know what a reloading bench and press even looks like! If she asks, just tell her it's for machining precision parts for the aerospace industry and keep the brass and finished product hidden and you'll be good to go.
