Does anyone know what would be a good cleaning mixture to use to run my handgun through my ultrasonic cleaner?

I own the Lyman unit that included a starter bottle of both brass and steel/parts cleaning solutions.

The steel cleaning stuff works great on reloading dies and gun parts, it won't work miracles on heavily deposited gunk but if you give things a decent once-over scrub to knock off the big chunks it does the job.

Caterpillar brand radiator cleaner is my ultrasonic solution of choice. You can buy it at your local Cat dealer and a gallon is way cheaper than the Hornady stuff.
