Listen when it comes to a carry gun do not consider price a factor. Both hand guns your are looking at are good. I own a Walther PPQ 9mm and could not be happier with it; shoots nice and is accurate, however still not to much different than a P99, But I am a Sig man. I own walther; but carry a SIG SAUER P220 .45. For what I paid; I could have bought a Kimber or any other 1911 style out there; but there is a reason sig says; and I quote there motto (TO HELL AND BACK RELIABILITY) When my life depends on it; a Sig is my choice. They are also know for unbelievable accuracy right out of the box. Both would be a good gun but as every one says and I will too go to Bill's shoot 'em all find what you like.

i dunno, i'd look (if you're sticking to 9mm) at a CZ-75B. they are pretty nice and quite affordable. if you have a higher budget, check the SIG P226. IMHO the SIG is a much nicer gun than the CZ, but the price of the CZ is more attractive.
also, let it be known, i'm not a polymer kinda guy. i don't like the SIG 2022, nor do i like the SIG 250. i'm not a huge fan of the XDm's, although they are pretty nice.

get yourself a 1911 and be done with it. now the question is "which one?..."

I got my P226 for only slightly more then a 75b. So far I don't regret a thing.

Now that tweedle dum and tweedle dumber have chimed in ^^^ (rukwikenuf & lunchbox) .... Its my turn....

If you are set on it being a 9mm I would take a look at the Berrettas. They are nice. But I have always liked the Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm full size. It is a very nice pistol. I like how it comes with the changeable backstraps. So you can make sure it fits nicely in your hand. I almost bought one to use as my carry gun. But went with a 1911 instead.
Wrap that around your overly muscled left wing and row your dinghy in counterclockwise circles as a result.

9Mm is first to satisfy my desire to target shoot without breaking the bank on ammo. .45 won't be far behind

Loved my Walther p99 but I love my xds more. Shot just the same with both. Love my Xd 9 subcompact so much I bought the 45 full frame too.

there ARE 1911's in 9mm.... in fact, most companies make them. if money weren't an issue, i'd say go with a Nighthawk in 9mm. can't go wrong there, but it had BETTER be a good gun for two month's worth of the mortgage

Not worth the scrilla. A nighthawk is a luxury item, like a caddy.

Buy a springfield loaded in 9mm. Spend the $2000 you have LEFT OVER on ammo or a reloading setup.

+1 Rent!
C'mon. You wanna get married to someone just because you 'heard she'd be a good match'. Take one out, feed her, maybe she comes home, maybe you both move on.
