When a meth head charges your car at 3 am you'd be suprised how fast you can retrieve a handgun from front pocket or waistband. Ask me how I know ;)

Probably not as quick as hitting the gas :) why hit them with a piece of lead at 500 fps when a ton of steel at 20 mph will do? Hahaha

I can't beleive nobody has said a "Crossbreed Supertuck" yet! So, I'll say it! I use a Crossbreed Supertuck IWB! Not gonna tell ya what position and whats in it! That would defeat my purpose of "Concealed Carry"! ;) (oh $#!+, damned avatar! Now you probably know whats's in it!)

Milt Sparks VM2 IWB for my 642 and 1911. Easy to conceal and comfortable.

If I'm in business attire, shoulder rig with the 1911 or a full size.

In some rare cases I'll smart carry a full size. Typically this is shorts weather.

Ruger LCR .38 spl, Sideguard High Slide OWB, 8 o'clock (I'm a lefty! ;) ) most of the time. If I'm feeling really saucy, then it's the Taurus 66 .357 mag, 6" bbl, Uncle Mike's shoulder rig. But it takes a bit more creativity to hide all that bulk, so the Taurus is usually my woods gun.

I prefer this approach as well... However the general public tends to disagree.
