I'm not trying to hijack this thread but I am trying to decide betwen a Diamondbakc DB380, Micro Desert Eagle, or the Taurus TCP..

I read at a lot of places that LCP's have had some issues and recalled a couple of times because they failed the drop test.

I've owned two LCP's, 1200 rounds between the two. No malfunctions.

If it's my money I'm buying a P3AT or LCP, in that order. I have no personal experience with any of the pistols you have listed, but do a quick google on anything from Diamondback. I know nothing whatsoever of the DE. I would avoid anything Taurus.
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Somebody was posting alot of BS.

There was only "One" recall back in 2008. None since.

If I am gonna carry a weapon like a gun in my pocket. I don't ever want it to discharge without me pulling the trigger... That rules out LCP's for me. I have shot them and I just don't think they are as easy on my hands as a Diamondback DB380, I also wouldn't mind a Micro eagle because I can get one at a discount, as I know the owner of the company who machine's the parts for Magnum Research. Plus the micro just looks badass

Personally, I like the colt Mustang better than the rest of them, but they can be hard to find.

All these guns have poor sights but put a laser on the thing and that can circumvent a little of the problem.

I've given up on all things .380

Tried both the Walther and the Bersa, jam, stove pipe, jam. Different ammo, fired them clean, dirty, lubed, or dry. I just can't carry a gun I can't trust.

It's the Sig-229 for everyday and the Taurus ultra-lite .38 for pocket carry now.

I understand that a firearm you can't shoot comfortably isn't a firearm ya want to carry, but completely dismissing a firearm because of one recall 4 years ago that was 100% fixed? That is something I don't understand. :|

I like my LCP. It has been a reliable gun that shoots well considering the size. I carry it in a Crossbreed Mini-Tuck holster. Hardly know its there and is very well concealed.

If you are ruling out the LCP for fear it's going to discharge in your pocket you are cheating yourself. I carry one everywhere and I'd be more worried about somethng else discharging in my pants then I would the LCP

A nice little pocket holster will also do wonders to keep the gun from discharging in your pocket.
Besides the fact that it makes it safer to pocket carry, it keeps some of the crud out of your
gun and keeps it from flipping around.

The LCP is much nicer to shoot than the P3AT, IMO.

But I still stand with Kahr P380 w/ CTC Laserguard.

Im inclined to lean towards the LCP. Frugality is winning at this point. I recently handles the p380, nice but spendy
