Range day with the new Glock.

Postby Irish.40 on Wed Mar 21, 2012 2:57 pm

Thats right. I put the first 100 rds down range today. Wow, what a difference. The gun is flawless. Accuracy is dead on, no malfunctions at all. I am very impressed. On a side note though, the guys next to me were morons. Three guys trying to shoot like a full auto. Most of the rounds didn't even hit the target. Of course all their brass hit me in the face. Seriously, why can't ranges put the dividers all the way to the ceiling? I don't understand the oversight in design. I mean, if your going to open a range, chances are you have some experience at indoor ranges, right?!! Oh well, nothing can take away from the awesome gun that now lays comfortably in my safe. I am definitely a Glock guy now!

We have dividers floor to ceiling in the one I shoot at....

Glad you liked it. We where at the range once and the 2 guys couple lanes down shooting a shotgun w/scope 15 to 21 feet. Oh and a full size silhouette.

I've been a Glock owner since the late 80's.

Watch out... eventually you'll start buying guns because you picked up $10 worth of some weird caliber of brass and want to reload it.

Sadly, I am that type. I have a lot of 38 special brass and suddenly feel the need to find a gun to match it.

Well don't buy a 10mm and hope to find brass at the range.

Nice I just picked up a G23 about a week ago as well. Do you shoot at BV Pistol? Also go over to Botachtactical.com and pick up a 22 round mag for the G22, they will work in the G23.

Yea, I go to BV pistol. I'll have to check out the 22 round mag. I'm curious which other mags work in the g23?
