Glock Military and LE Special Pricing

Maybe we should just have the government issue each person a house, car and job too! Same everything!

You can't expect everyone to have the same benefits for unequal effort/input.

You want the same "equal" benefits as my brethren and I then write Uncle Sam a check for "my life", pick up a gun, get on a plane and put in some time that you will never get back.

I'm done with these keyboard commandos. Come to a VFW and spout your BS, until then have fun in your mother's basement.

Just like my wife's nephew who wanted a certain person elected to be President because he wouldn't have to pay for college. My question was whrer does that money come from? His dad backed me up.

A text book example of a straw man argument. Listen Bulletproof, when you can defend your position or crbutler's by proxy without resorting to false analogies and straw man arguments then we can debate this some more. Until then, I'll just let you and crbutler continue to dig.

A firearm is a tool of the trade for military and law enforcement, not for peace corps. Maybe Birkenstock should offer a peace corps discount. I have a few ideas for a New Black Panther discount but none are appropriate for this forum.

We were created equal. What we do with our lives from there makes us individuals. My grandfather, my father and I were military and we get a free meal at Applebee's once a year. My wife's grandfather, father and brother are all in agriculture and they get company trucks. In the real world I work on security systems and I get to buy one for my home at cost. My wife works for an eye surgeon and she gets free glasses. We were all made the same but made different decisions and reap different benefits. I like that you quoted the Declaration of Independence. Here's another quote you can use to get a discounted Glock for yourself:
I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.

You were the one that said it was a horrible stance that people would want to be treated equally. And then balk when I point out it's a key principle in the Declaration of Independence. If you want to debate then actually do it. Claiming I'm using unfounded arguments and analogies is frivolous at best.

Many of the examples you give are benefits people get from where they work. When it comes to business it's not an egregious act to want the same products, pricing and service other people are getting.

It would be nice if they gave away free firearms too. Do you somehow think you're entitled to the same benefits LEO, active duty and reserve soldiers are? You're no longer in the armed forces. Maybe you should sign back up?

Whose side are you on Senator?

I still would love to see these keyboard vigilantes take this discussion to a VFW or vets motorcycle ride.

I want the same benefits without earning them!!!

Your stance of wanting the same benefits is not outrageous. You're wanting them for free however is borderline comical and downright selfish.

Whatever you say. Pretty sure I voiced a simple opinion and that is all it is. Don't try to drag me into your petty argument.

I don't think that Vets or LEO's earned ANY benefits from Glock, S&W, Kimber, or any other manufacturer.

Vets get their bennie's from good old Uncle Sam, and perhaps their paid membership to the VFW.
LEO's get their benefits from their employers or organizations to which they pay to belong.

Anything from any retailer IS a nice perq, even though I personally don't believed it's technically earned ...

Not really.

There's a VERY big difference between telling a vet he hasn't earned his veteran's benefits, and telling him he shouldn't get a deal from Glock just because he's served.

I think YOU should try each at your local VFW.

Name the time and which one. I invite the original trolls to show up as well.

"Benefit", "perk", "****" it doesn't matter. If a company wants to give one of us a free meal once a year or some money off an item it isn't really any one else's business. No, they don't mark up the merch for "everyone else" to make up for it, I imagine they just eat it as a PR gimmick which is totally within their rights and interest. Was it "earned" as a part of an original contract? Of course not and any intelligent adult knows no one here, that I read, was arguing that so stop playing with the straw man and put forth something worth discussing.

Want the bennies of being a vet? Sign up and do your time. Hell, I've served with plenty of folks just like you.

The "you" was meant at anyone who would sign up solely for benefits, sorry poor phrasing.

At any rate the original troll isn't even responding anymore and I've made my stance known so this is pointless. I'm out, have fun folks! Make sure to give the national guard a big middle finger next time they're tossing sandbags along the river!
