FNP45 Tactical

Postby SGT.E.USMC on Tue Jun 12, 2012 2:30 pm

Anybody else have one of these? I picked one up prior to this deployment and only sent 50 rounds through it so she's still unfamiliar. I found the recoil to be very managable and enjoyed the 15 rounds of .45... I put a 7 MOA Docter optic and a M3X light on it and its a tan powerhouse.. Wil post pics when I get home in a week!

Thanks,

I would hope MN lawmakers will get their heads out of their rectums and let us Minnesotans enjoy some quiet shooting!

Yeah you're jealous. But you and me have had that conversation a few times before.

Nice piece.

Unlike ruk, I haven't shot one I've manhandled one quite a bit but never shot. I did however send a few mags through his now sold fnp40. Like the gun a lot, it was a blast to shot at the range but wasn't a fan of the .40(at least in the platform) tooo snappy, would have loved to try the 45 or the 9.

I had to spend an additional 150 on an unthreaded 45 barrel because in CA any semiauto pistol with a detachable magazine and a threaded barrel is an assault weapon. I love the damn thing though

I loved my USG model, put a few hundred rounds through it before I traded for a 1911 (the FNP45 wass a bit hard to conceal).

You're gonna love your tactical, just remember to keep a firm grip on it.

She doesn't kick too bad, I actually feel much less snap than a friends comped 1911. He says I am FOS and biased.

Yea, the near lack of recoil is quite nice, I found it to be less snappy than a few 9mms I've shot.

Beautiful piece. One of my favorite Hickok videos is when he realizes that he has the matching silencer for the gun. The old man giggles like schoolboy.
