Ruger SR22

I picked up a Ruger SR22 today. This is my 1st handgun, going to hit the range this week. Anyone have one? How is it treating you?

Lucky! I've heard a lot of good things about that little pistol.

I was looking for one of those a while back, and that was when Ruger suspended production, so I just stopped looking. I still want one, though.

I have not fired one, but I saw a guy shooting CCI Stingers through one, it made little rings-O-fire like a damn 357mag

I have a 600 frame per second slow motion youtube video of it here

I got one for my wife when they first hit the market. She had never shot a handgun before and this little weapon worked really well as in introduction piece. I shoot it from time to time too and don't have anything bad to say about it though I wish the sight picture was tighter. It is good cheap fun. Congrats on your 1st. Welcome to your new addiction.

went to the Gander Mountain range today. Put around 250 shots downrange and had zero problems shooting the 36 grain Federal Bulk. I think I am really going to like this gun :D
