latest night sight reviews?

You should never use a punch to install tritium sights, use a sight pusher tool instead. The vials aren't designed for lateral impact forces, and you can crack or weaken the glass.

You should tell that to Dawson precision, who installs all their sights with a brass punch and hammer.

If you are breaking vials, your hammer is too big, or your sight needs to be fitted.

had two sets of night sights to switch myself. checked about the only gunsmith I could find down here, charged $35 PER GUN to do it. So I bought the damn sight pusher from Brownells for $90 and can now service my own glock sights forever...

But yes, $20 might be worth it if a guy was near MrVrooooooooooooooooooooom or someone similar.

Purchased TFO's from Bills and they installed for free.

I have read on another forum that you can send the slide in to trijicon and they will remove the vials and replace them for like 18 bucks a vial.

You have me scratching my head. 18 per vial is 54 bucks for the set. Shipping your slide to them is at minimum 6-10 bucks. Not to mention you are without your gun for some significant time

I can buy trijicons for 80 delivered to my door. If I didn't have the tool I'd still rather keep my gun intact and consider it worth it.

Granted your way would save a few dollars if true.

Took less than five minutes. If not for changing sights it would serve a person equally as well for simply adjusting your sights. Too bad the best way is to use the gun specific ones and not the universals.

latest night sight reviews?

I found that by buying from Frontiersman, and having their free install, it came out cheaper than the cheapest online TFOs + shipping + bench charge. And, choosing the right set was their responsibility. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.
