Nice guns! I wanted a Judge but maybe I should lean towards the governor?

My wife and I both shot a Governor at Bills (twice, actually) and its a fine handgun. We used PDX .410, 45 LC and 45 ACP. The PDX was kinda harsh IMHO. I really liked shooting the long colt through it.

You EDC a 44 mag? Dang....[/quote]

Yea.... It was an impulse buy at frontiersman. I narrowed it down between an XDS and that. I couldn't turn it down... It was only $650 and was in as good as shape as my brand new SRH, just $300 bucks less. But yea... Winter time no problem carrying it. Come summer I will need something else... I don't see it as any more unreasonable than guys carrying around 10mm glocks. Do they really need that? Not tryin to sound like some bad ass or anything... but what a .44 mag really is pretty manageable. I wouldn't think it would kick any more than a .357 mag LCR. I could be wrong though... Never shot one.

I think the S&W .44 NG is discontinued. It's not easy to conceal, but pretty easy to carry. I sometimes carry the .500 shown above, but it makes my limp even worse.

That Governor has an unexpected attraction! I like it... alot.

I use a Galco Silhouette for my 44M NG. Rides above the belt and conceals well if you don't tuck your shirt in.
The NG is very light and very small. I hardly carry anything else.

I almost bought the judge but the upgrades you get with the governor are well worth the money!

I also shot the LCR for the first time today. 158gr .38 special hornady rounds. Shot pretty well! Now I need some 5 star speed loaders for this gun.

Galco Silhouette. It came with the 329NG when I bought it. Awesome holster.

I thought it looked like a Galco. I wonder how specific it is. Just kinda wondering if that would fit my Alaskan. I like thumb breaks, I'm all about retention.

I have 2 LCRs - 38spl and 22LR. Never shot the LCR in 357, but 38SPL+P isn't pleasant in this gun. Its the best stock trigger I've felt especially after it gets broken in.

My bosses wife got a LCR in 38 special. She likes it.

They now make it in a 22 magnum. 6 shot. That could be a neat one to shot.

My boss just got a new smith-wesson governor now too... I let him handle mine the day I bought it... he knew right then and there he needed one...

Just shot 5 rounds of .357 magnum though the LCR... Ouch! Wasn't expecting that much kick... Damn!

If you ever get tired of LCR, PM me, I've been looking for one.
