Why no used M&Ps FS ?

Last Sunday at the MWCA show in Rochester I happened to be near a vendor who sells magazines.
A guy walked up and asked him if he had any M&P mags (17rds maybe?) the vendor says yes one left.
He walked down his table and the fellow took a look and his eyeballs fell out and bounced across the floor.
Then mine did the same thing! It was $99.95! He didn't buy it, and his disappointment was apparent.

He sells mags at a decent price, often the lowest available, when his site isn't down for maintenance.

I absolutely love my m&p. And yes, I have put some money into the trigger from Apex, but I am okay with that. I like to tinker with things.

My next pistol purchase will either be a 40c or a shield if they ever decide to be in stock somewhere.
