Right holster for home use

I use my crossbreed supertuck everywhere: out on errands, in my home, etc.

I rarely take my carry off when at home and use a MiniTuck at the 4:00 position. I regularly sit on the couch, bar stools, lovesac (bean bag of sorts) and home office chair. No issues with comfort 90% of the time.

The point being I'm using the smaller of the two most popular CrossBreed IWB holsters and have no issues with comfort. The SuperTuck is a bit larger and covers more surface area of the pistol making it more comfortable to wear. Guess what? They make SuperTucks for 5" guns.

I come home for the day and wear the same holster I wear out and about all day, while sitting on my my recliner catching up on my interweb ramblings, eating at the table or whatever. I wear the holster for most of the day even when I can't carry (my college). And it doesn't bother me the least bit when sitting through classes. I have a hybrid-Old Faithful hybrid IWB (Comp-tac C-clips added) that I would suggest. My 3" revolver sits in it comfortably pretty much all day.

Get something really really cheap.

Less than a month carrying a 1911 at home and you'll stop.

A BH! Serpa would do ya good. Sporter or CQC (paddle vs belt). Use it for future range time.
