Local dealer got a bunch of these in, and had the best price in town. $349.99 And I've heard nothing but good stuff about them. I've already ran 100 rounds of Federal Bulk though it, and it's been 100% reliable... Highly recommended!

I've been trying to find extra magazines for mine for several months. No luck. Midway said they were expecting some in early February. Now they moved the date out to April. The limited 10 round magazines can be changed to standard 12 round magazines in about a minute. Just remove a limiter inside the magazine. If you find a source for magazines, please post.

I got a Sig 1911-22. (Made by GSG of Germany.) Mine shoots great. I'm a 1911 guy. I was able to get spare magazines at a discount, but still not cheap, from Sig. Gun came with 2 not like the M&P 22.

I'll post too if I find any M&P 22 magazines. Midway dealer price is $25 for either the 10 or 12 round.

I just tested mine, and I can have one in the pipe, and a full magazine. Shoots just fine. Running Winchester bulk.

That's a great price!! I picked one up 2 weeks ago for $400- which is the price I've seen most selling them for. I've run about 200 rounds of Federal blue box bulk pack hollowpoints through it so far with no jams and great accuracy. Didn't have to touch the sites and will be carrying it for vermin control on the farm next spring/summer. Striped gophers and skunks will be buzzard bait.

I also need some spare mags. It fit one of my kydex holsters for my G21- so don't need to spend any money there.

Buckmark and M@P .22 pistols for summer varmint carry
Mini-14 and Rem. 870 for all types of vermin.

One thing i have been wondering-- are these guns drop safe- as in- safe to carry with one in the chamber?? I have always carried my Buckmark with empty chamber around the farm as i just don't know the answer. My Glocks are always carried chambered- of course.

I ordered a blackhawk holster for mine and if I do decide to carry this out in the woods I will carry one in the pipe plus a full magazine. I don't run the safety because I know how to practice proper trigger control...

I don't use the safety either- what i was wondering is- as a singe action- hammer fired gun- could it go off if dropped and such with no fireing pin safety that i can see. I beleive all the safety blocks is the trigger- not the hammer or fireing pin.

There is a internal hammer.

Edit: Just checked and it does have a hammer block too that disengages when the trigger is pulled.
