Sig P290RS?

Postby patrick on Mon Apr 15, 2013 6:30 pm

Anybody have one of these?I am interested in it.Looks like a nice little pistol and I see there are steel guide rods available for them now.Could be the replacement for my current "pocket nine".I may have to call Bill's and see if they have one to rent.

Probly a bit more money ... but I'd take a hard look at a P938, first! ;)

It a great gun, the fit and finish is excellent, the sights are great, came with two mags/laser/cheap holster. The only thing I don't like is the trigger pull, very long and heavy especially at the end. takes a little practice to get smooth with it at the range. About 200 rounds through it and not a single problem.

Where do you live?I'd like to shoot it.I like DAO's.I have a CM9 and love it,but this might replace it just for the Sig name/reputation/reliability.

I've heard about too many of them having problems.I like the Kimber Solo too,but again,I've heard of too many problems.Seems to me that if they are going to charge that much money they should all be 110% right out of the box.Or drop the price several hundred dollars so folks can afford to send them back two or three times.
