The Springfield EMP is the only 3" 1911 I would 100% rely on as a defensive firearm. Only available in 9mm and 40sw however

I had one 3" 1911 and it ran like a man with a broken leg. I like the Tman comment and believe it. Know a 3" 1911 was already purchased and would suggest a different platform when you trade it in. My suggestion for a replacement would be a j-frame.

Couldn't agree more, that is why I got a 3.5"
Did you just buy that beautiful firearm, or are you trying to sell that piece of crap?
