When I had my 10mm I always had good luck at little crow for factory ammo.

10 mm

Guys: 10mm is a delight to reload. Ask at the range if they can sort out 10 mm brass for you. I got several bags locally for 12 cents a piece. I used to get it at gander, but don't see it now. My best luck is buying it bulk in HSM brand at Cabelas. They have buffalo bore in stock as well as the other common aluminum and brass options. Gander was stocked in 10 mm too the last time I was there. If you find Underwood brass, take a good look at it, if it is Glocked, you can see telltale signs of failure. I always size with push-thru in carbide. If you want to rock and roll, up your spring weight to the 22# zone but make sure you have enough slide travel for no FTF. 10 is such a delight to shoot. The RR can easily have the recoil spring upped, too. Yes, I use a magnum primer on hard to ignite powders. Also you should be familiar with old blue dot versus new bluedot. Especially if you like your shooting hand. If you have a little beer money, the Bar-Sto , storm lake or KKM rifled barrels let you shoot the penny a piece lead bullets you hand cast out in the garage. Berrys thick plate bullets are good to over 1300 fps, so you can really push the 10 hard! My G20 is a satisfactory weapon, just that the grips on the frame fit somebody else's hand....not mine. At least with the 1911 you can bolt on better grips for enhanced accuracy and hold.
Proudly launching lead from a Swiss P-240 at a range near you.

Word is that factory ammo, aside from the "boutique" brands is pretty anemic. I dunno, I've never bought any 10mm factory ammo. The caliber is a hoot, frankly. I have a G20, G29, DW Sportsman, 310NG and 610. Guess that makes 5 10mm guns. I really like the DW and the revolvers. I reload quite a bit of it. I wasn't using the dies for 40, so now they get use.

Finally here is a picture. Won't be changing the grips. Very comfortable and they do their job.

Yea me too. I'm pretty excited still. I didn't have enough dough to buy a top dollar 1911 but if this one runs thats all I care about.

The only problem I have had with mine is it does not like lubed cast lead bullets. The grove diameter is just a little big and the barrel will lead. It shoots Bayou bullets, Berry's plated bullets and all of the jacketed bullets just fine.

The only stuff I could find was either high buck SD ammo, or some run of the mill, low- mid power stuff on GunBroker for about $0.60/ rd. the SD stuff was $2-3/ rd if I recall.
Even dealing with all the crap going on the past 6 mos, finding 10mm ammo was a whole new frustration.

Walmart woodbury I bought 4boxes of target, then sent my wife in for 4 boxes Hornady CD 8pm 5/29. You are really gonna hate it tell ya what I will trade ya a EAA .357 and ammo and a banana split ;)

Well I have a late update. Shot it on saturday finally. Went through a hundred rounds. Had about 3 failure to feeds. Was kinda disappointed. I was using remington UMC 180 grain. They are kinda flat so maybe that was the problem. The rounds would noise dive downward. Before I shot it I took it apart and when I put it back together it felt like the spring was binding up. I took it back to frontiersman to have them look at it and they told me just to shoot it cuz they didn't see anything wrong. After putting 100 rounds through it, it felt smoother. Hopefully this gun smooths out for me.
