Gunsmith for revolver trigger job

I have a Taurus revolver that I would like to have a trigger job done on. Can anyone recommend a Twin Cities gunsmith that can do this?

Lot's of different guys in the TC metro, and the Metro is not small. Any particular area?

Also know, that Taurus actually does stand behind their lifetime warranty. The second you start cutting/stoning/grinding/ that trigger, the warranty will be void. And Taurus does not offer replacement parts, even to 'smiths. If something wears down the road, it's gonna have to go back to the factory, and you will be paying plenty for it.

I live in the north metro - Lino Lakes. I would also like to actually talk with the 'smith and not just drop my gun off at a gunshop. That can be a bit like playing telephone in grade school. I know about the warranty. The problem is that my 992's DA trigger pull is hideous. I tried the Wolff spring kit and all of the hammer springs gave me FTF. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

swing on down to Bill's in Robbinsdale. Ryan isn't there anymore, but Nathan can do one helluva trigger as well.

otherwise, i shimmed my hammer on my Taurus 669. i pulled the mechanism apart, smoothed a few burrs off, and added some thin shims. i think they were 0.002 - 0.003". doing so allowed the hammer to ride smooth, not rubbing on the frame during fire. that in itself smoothed the pull immensely. then i played with the spring a little bit, and now it's a dream. and yes, it's still a Taurus
