DIY mods on PK380

Polished the barrel with Mothers inlaid the lime green. Wife's gun. She wanted it prettier than just black.

Not sure this adjective is supposed to be applicable to a gun :lol: - but it is Cute.

How long did it take to polish?
Did you just buy that beautiful firearm, or are you trying to sell that piece of crap?

Put earplugs into barrel. Soaked in vinegar for 30min. Scrubbed with a SOS pad rinsed and soaked for another 15 min in vinegar. Then polished by hand and with dremel to a shine.

Liquid toilet bowl cleaner removes most bluing instantly ;)

Metal polish keeps rust down as does a little gun lube. No issues on my barrel whatsoever.

Nice looking weapon. I put pink grips on my wifes S&W 642 and now you've given me a couple new ideas to make hers "special". Thanks, it might keep me out of the dog house.
