Each cylinder is eunuch to the caliber. The 45 ACP cylinder has no cutouts for rims; the case headspaces on the case mouth just like in a 1911 bbl.

A separate cylinder for the 45 ACP. I didn't understand that from the photo. I assumed they all worked in the same cylinder. How does the extractor fit into the rimless 45 ACP on the separate cylinder to eject the cases?
Because I care, I carry.
HOPE for the best in people, but PLAN for the worst.

It's a single action revolver. The "extractor" is the little spring loaded push rod under the barrel that pushes the cases out from the open "just fired" side.
