Beretta Nano 9mm

Postby PHATSPEED7x on Wed Jul 31, 2013 7:31 pm

My boss has a Beretta Nano 9mm for sale... He bought it this spring for carry, and added night sights (Beretta branded), and bought some accessories for it. I'm thinking of picking it up from him. Not having any real extra money to throw around I offered my Taurus Tracker .357 magnum for trade. He said he would be interested in that. I already have my governor for a big bore revolver, and if I need magnum power I have the DE. I could always use another small carry gun.

Anyone here have a Nano? If so how do you like it?

Well I went over to his house tonight, and looked over the gun. He only put about 100 rounds though it. He had it listed on Armlist for $525 with everything...

I traded him my Taurus Tracker .357 magnum with a hogue grip, and a few boxes of ammo. I had about $500 tied up in the Taurus. We're both happy with the trade. He's been more than fair with gun trades lately.

I can't wait to shoot this thing this weekend.

I've never been a huge Baretta fanboy but the Nano looks interesting. I'dlove to hear a range report too.

I look forward to giving you guys a range report too. I have to go to Glen's this weekend and take delivery of my TriStar T-120 also. So I'll make sure to grab a few boxes of ammo, and give you guys two range reports.

Well I was able to put 25 rounds though the gun last night. Not as snappy as I thought it was going to be. Was shooting paper target at about 7 yards. Was able to make a 4" group with all the rounds. Overall I'm happy with the gun. If I want to carry something slim with more rounds than my lcr I think this will be the ticket. Also love the night sights.

Thanks for the report. Have you used it with the MIC yet?

The MIC style of holster is great. I've carried it for the last two days with the MIC concealed at about 8 o'clock on my body (left handed).

Here is a pic of my target from today...

8 shots from 7 yards in under 5 seconds.

traded into one today.... very impressed so far. nice fit and finish, would have liked a few more rounds in the mag, but for something that fits in a pocket, i can't be too crabby. and it's a 9. range results were good. will make it into the carry rotation with my bp9 and the micro eagle...

If you want a few more rounds order some 8 round magazines from beretta. They have them in stock and shipping is fast. Mine came with one 6 rounder and two 8 rounder magazines. Boss bought an extra 8 round magazine the same time he ordered the night sights.

I'm really impressed with this gun. So far I have about 200 rounds shot out of this gun and I've had no issues with it. I've read the problems some of the early nano were having but I'm thinking beretta fix them. This single stack 9mm is much easier to shoot than my old Kel Tec PF9 I had. It has a little higher barrel bore axis like the springfield xd9 but I can still shoot it well. Carrying it with the MIC holster is a real joy. Hardly notice it and easy to conceal. The trijicon night sights are awesome! Magazines are avalible for it direct from beretta. Not too badly priced either.

I recommend it for someone looking for a nice concealed carry weapon.
