I must the gun equivalent of a bud light drinker ' cause I have a 3 tauri, a S&W, and 2 ruger wheel guns and I love them all equally. My Taurus 669 has always functions flawlessly and has performed as well or better for me than S&Ws and Ruger GP100s that I have shot. Of course it is an older model so maybe more recent models have lost some quality, dunno, but I only paid $275 for it back in the day and I would pay much more than that today if I had to.

You have one of the early models too? Bought my 669 (6") back in 1989 when I was in the Navy. Paid $200 for it, and have never had a problem with it. I have no idea how many rounds I have through it, but I know for the first six months I had it, I hit the range at least twice a month, and never shot fewer than 200 rounds through it per range session.

It was my first handgun. Solid, solid gun, never an issue and more rounds through it than anything else I own except maybe one of the .22 rifles.
