I'll be sending mine in soon, I know they'll take care of it.

Just dropped mine off at FedEx. Now to decide which Ruger I'm going to carry while waiting to get it back ... :hmm:

Since I had the time today, I got it shipped and on its way hopefully to beat the rush, but what a pain in the arse finding a FedEx Express office to ship it. Ended up at a FedEx Ground (not the same) but it was a terminal for both so they took it since was ready to go.

Yea, because if they don't they will get sued. Should have never rushed it to market.....

UPDATE: Turns out you can check the serial number on the website and my XDs is NOT in the recall list.

From what I have heard, it is ALL xds. The serial number check is wrong.

Thanks. I'll let my friend know that I give the gun to.

I fall in the range so I guess back she goes. No big deal I will load up my 1911 for the night stand in the interim.

Well I just won the single stack lottery. First I was hit with the Shield Recall and now the XDS recall! I guess I am going to have to lug around one of my full size handguns until this all gets worked out.....or I could just go purchase something else......hmmmm...! :D

Damn.... I feel for you.

Here I'm feeling bad because I got nailed by a recall, and here you get hit twice with the same issue from two different manufacturers; now I feel bad for you and my own situation doesn't seem bad at all.

Could have been worse. You could have added an early LCP into the mix

Or even worse, be one of those people who bought the Caracal and got bit by that recall....

Thankfully that wasn't me.

I was looking at both the Shield and the XD-S over the last year. Maybe I should save the extra cash and just go for the Sig 938 instead?

Wow... glad I didn't get either a shield or xds pistol. Hopefully they get it all figured out.

Well I don't like being without it, but I still like the gun a lot and I'm sure it will be in the condition as intended when I get it back right?
So being new to building up my armory, I only have the TRP Operator to shoot for now and this one I won't carry so I mentioned to the wife that I need another for issues like this.
A BMG has nothing on the look that I got! :o
